Solomon waited on the other side of the veil. "Greetings."

Paul smiled at him. "Where are we going tonight?"

"Someone wants to meet with you," Solomon told him briefly.

With Solomon guiding the way, they drifted quickly through the atmosphere and within minutes were being sped through a vortex into the next dimension. Not stopping there, Solomon guided him through four more layers. Unlike the last time, Paul was totally aware of having entered the eighth dimension.

A building of crystalline light sat solidly on their left. Tall, with pillars of pure crystal leading into a rainbow-colored hallway, it sparkled with inner light. The outer light that was coming from an unidentifiable source touched it, casting rainbows into the air around them. Solomon entered without hesitating, motioning for Paul to follow.

Paul stood and stared with wonder at the huge area that greeted him. Apparently the large building had only one room for he saw no hallways or doorways or stairways leading away from the awesome room where he now stood. But unlike the angles of the exterior, the interior was the shape of a large, pale-blue dome.

Looking to his left, toward the back of the great room, he saw a figure sitting at a large desk that appeared to be carved from a crystalline-like material. As Solomon urged him forward, Paul saw that the man had a short, perfectly manicured, gray beard. His hair was gray as well. His facial features were strong and firm with eyes that were piercing and deep. Somehow they reached out and infused Paul with unspoken wisdom. In the recesses of his mind Paul recognized him but was unable to pull forward the memory of where he'd met this man before. Deftly arranging his pale-blue robe around him, the man stood as they approached.

Solomon touched Paul's arm, stopping him several feet from the desk. His voice, when he spoke, resonated with respect for the man. "Enoch, I would like to introduce you to Paul. I've brought him, as you requested."

Enoch bowed his head slowly, never taking his eyes from Paul. Paul found himself bowing as well. The two men stood tall, evaluating each other. Countless emotions flashed through Paul so quickly that he had no time to identify them. In some way this man was reaching into his soul and awakening him. Paul's sense of awe at the moment and the unspoken honor overwhelmed him to the point of tears. He closed his eyes briefly, forcing back his unshed tears of emotion as he felt the love this man had for him, and opened them once again to meet and hold the great man's gaze.

Enoch's hand waved through the air. He nodded at the two crystalline chairs that materialized beside Solomon. "Please sit," he invited. His voice resonated with history, somehow seeming to cast into the air his personal experience on Earth. It felt as though his presence was infusing Paul with the invisible, energetic existence of Earth and the people who had walked upon it throughout time.

Paul couldn't help but think of the man's own history on Earth.
